Based on a true story, Extraordinary Measures follows the relentless efforts of parents John and Aileen Crowley to find a cure for the potentially fatal genetic disease that had struck their two youngest children. Love is in the air and on the big screen as Valentine’s Day follows the affairs of the heart of a group of Los Angelinos whose lives intersect during one single Valentine’s Day. The romantic comedy boasts a star-studded ensemble cast with seemingly half of Hollywood taking part, including Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Shirley MacLaine, Ashton Kutcher, Jamie Foxx, and Queen Latifah. It’s directed by Garry Marshall, who has been at the helm of such hits as Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, and The Princess Diaries. Feel the funny side of love when the movie opens on, you guessed it, Valentine’s weekend.

The real-life husband and wife team of British actor Paul Bettany and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Connelly star in Creation, a movie about the origin of Charles Darwin’s earth-shattering theory of evolution. The story details the scientist’s early life and puts his relationship with his devout Christian wife Emma under the microscope. It depicts his battle between faith and reason as he wrote the seminal On the Origin of Species and reveals how he struggled to come to terms with the death of his 10-year-old daughter. Creation opens nationwide on January 22.
